‘Tapestries’ Exhibition

'Blue'
Weaving in optical fiber
300 x 250 cm

Light is conducted though optical fibers. Optical fibres have certain properties akin to those of traditional textile fibers, making
it possible to work with the fibers
on a loom. The weaving is changing colour all the time.

'Holbein’
Neon tapestry
200 x 320 cm

'Ocean'
Plaited stainless steel filter
300 x 150 cm

The plaited metal network forms an interference pattern. The interference multiplies the pattern effect of the light and bring out the caracter of the textile as a living membrane – like reflections
of light on the surface of
the sea.
